i have not died in a tragic cardboard avalanche.
i am here, momentarily, in front of a computer. it feels kind of decadent. really decadent when you consider the 392 boxes filled with my possessions that are currently littering the living area that i call home. of course, this is ol’ Oberon. The computer I gave to Sister #4 when Jose moved out. Oberon is old and slow and probably needs to go to the giant computer heap in the sky. my ogden and the wireless router are currently residing in a cardboard box on top of a table in the loft.
my god unpacking sucks. it sucks with a suckiness that never seems to stop sucking ever.
but you know what? i have my own washing machine and that, that rules.
Congrats on surviving the move, even if there is still much to do. Free laundry does feel decadent…and yes, that’s how sad my life is.
Cheers,
JJ
you should really post before, during and after photos of the unpacking.
I’m so excited for you and your own washing machine. Jealous, but very excited.
Unpacking beats packing any day. And it could be worse, you could have nothing to unpack.
Glad you are back online!
What I wouldn’t give to have my own washing machine!
Hey jodikins:
Been away all week working, happy to hear you’re moving in. Get away from the computer and unpack!
and here i thought we would be seeing each other down at the Giant Wash…i guess it’ll have to be either lunch at Laco Toco or or thursday night is always thong night at Sabo’s Bar and Grill…
why do you know it’s thong night at sabo’s?
