you won’t believe the tv i’m gonna watch

i had to go over to sister #4’s (soon to be our) house tonight. she needed a computer and since Oberon was sitting here collecting dust, i dusted him off and brought him over. when i got there, she had the tv on. i was mesmerized.

did you know they have commercials for Jason Lee’s new TV show on tv right now? i nearly creamed my jeans, i was so excited. i can’t wait to have tv! i even sang a little ode to tv and did a tv dance in her (soon to be our) living room. i also started to think about where i’m going to put all my stuff. i can’t wait to move and have tv!

i think we might even have to get TiVo — because if you’re gonna do tv, you might as well do it right. right?

I know you’ve heard me say it before, but I’d give up cable before I gave up my Tivo.

I would give up a kidney before i gave up my tivo.

I just got TiVo like 2 months ago. While handy and nifty, giving up a kidney? It’s not that spectacular. Am I missing something?

NBFB: Do you have a real Tivo, or a DVR from the cable company? Pausing TV and whatnot is nice, but Tivo really is where it’s at with its enhanced functionality. Lilke, when it comes to using the Wishlists to grab stuff automagically. Now I catch Penn & Teller whenever they are on TV, even in guest appearances on sitcoms and/or late night talk shows.

I’ve had Tivo for almost 4 years now. It feels weird to watch regular TV now…even frustraiting when you’re over at someone’s house and you have to wait for a commercial to get up and run to the kitchen and whatnot.

I don’t have TiVo. Don’t have a phone on a land line, so no can do.
Jason Lee is fricking hot. I would do him again.

PeeWee: At the expense of this being a Tivo love-fest, I don’t have a landline either. Just get a USB network adapter and it will do everything over your broadband connection.

I am in NYC, and can barely afford rent. If I get TiVo, I will never leave the apartment, and then the point of living in NYC is moot.
I think I will just subscribe to the porn channel instead.
