If Paco had a theme song it would be “Needy Cat (The Humpty Hump Remix).” Paco and I have two very different philosophies when it comes to my left thigh. Me, being the keep of the thigh think I should be able to to do with that thigh what I want. Paco thinks that if I am not sitting down and that thigh is not really in use, it is his to do with as he pleases. Sometimes that’s just laying his upper body on it. Sometimes it’s just two paws and his head. And sometimes it’s his weird humpy, march-y masturbation-like play thing. Gross.
I skipped “Meet the Press” this morning and eschewed all activity from about 8 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. to write. Sadly, after lunch and an episode of “Gidget” (one of my favorites where the girls go on a sort of date strike and the boys call the slumber party and ask “Donde esta Larue?” Maybe you have to watch it) there was an accidental 2+ hour nap. The nap was glorious and all, but felt like a giant waste of time. I don’t have much time left. I wanted to finish the draft my birthday (which is Thursday). I have accepted that it won’t happen. It would have happened had I not been so busy all the time with the working for money. My new deadline is it finish before Christa, my alpha-reader has that Powerful Baby Girl (keep your fingers crossed she doesn’t come early!).
So after my nap I did some guitar research. Here is what I learned. Guitar research is boring.
Finally, at just before 10 p.m. I hit another milestone. It makes me happy.
The “It’s (Insert Day of Week) and I’m Boring” is a series that Christa and I do to pay homage to the beauty of old-school blogging. (I totally copied this nice explanation from Christa).
