sometime last week i was having a very passionate argument with someone over the chain of command in the executive branch of our U.S. government. whomever this person (the TTHM? NBFB? the artguy?) was claimed with great vehmence that the Secretary of State was next in line should something happen to the president and vice president.
i was just as passionate in my belief that no, in fact they were dead wrong, that it was the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
