i hope after i purge this shame from my soul that you, darling ones, will still like and respect me. i understand if you don’t. this confession will cast great doubt about my character.
ok. here goes.
i am totally, hopelessy, and pathetically smitten with that kid rock/sheryl crow song “pictures.”
i first heard it ever when i was sitting on my bed this morning debating on how cold it was and if i could manage the short trip to the grocery store without them. then this song came on about pictures and i pegged sheryl crow right away. she’s not hard to miss. but i was stumped as to who the guy was.
it was kid rock.
all i knew of kid rock up to this point was that he was marrying pamela anderson and he was on an episode of “king of the hill.” i also know enough to know that all his music isn’t as faboo as this song.
but, i love this song. it’s romantic and tragic and all those things a good song should be. so after hearing it on the radio (after i decided i didn’t need any socks, which was a mistake) i promptly fired up WinMX and got to downloading the song.
i’ve listened to the song about 382 times, and that’s not an exaggeration. it’s a great, great song.
*sigh* i’m in love.
