The list of 111 Wussiest Songs that the Largehearted Boy called out today had me alternately laughing my head off and gasping in horror while clutching my chest in the manner of the most offended.

The most offensive? Ye Olde ‘Mats “Skyway” coming in at #93. Clearly whoever made this list has never suffered through a Minnesota winter and has no idea how hardcore it is to sit on the cold street in a stupid hat in gloves in a sad attempt to glimpse the girl you long for.

That takes some mighty, mighty balls

Other than that glaring offense, it’s a pretty damn funny list, and not just because the word Wussy and any of its derivatives is inherently funny. I did a quick tally and on Kathleen Turner Overdrive there are 20 wussy songs (and I only counted the Phil Collins’ version of “Against All Odds” and not the cover by (i think) The Postal Service), which I guess makes me 20% wussy. I’m sure there are people out there who are way more wussy than I am.
