so i was just sitting here chilling, listening to a little Neil Young on Roland II the Electric Boogaloo, and waiting for a meeting with Al, the cutest girl on earth?, to begin. when tragedy struck! suddenly Roland II just stopped playing. i thought maybe his battery was low, but that wasn’t it. He was just stuck on the play screen though no sound was coming from the Disco Stu headphones. Al, went to go plug him in to her power source, but still, nothing. . . just stuck on the play screen. we decided, together, that i should do that resetty thing that Apple tells you to do, and then, and then. . .
oh, it’s so hard to type.
i got the frowny iPod guy.
i think Roland II’s days are over. how sad is that? i haven’t even had Roland II for a month have i? this is kind of ridiculous.
That’s pretty messed up considering you just had it replace(ments)d.
Dump the iPod & buy a record player.

but i don’t have 5000+ records! and i love my iPod. i think if i get another replacement(S) i might have to change the name.
that happened to me this weekend, but instead of resetting it, i just left it alone. once the battery ran out, everything started working again just fine.
the iPod frowny guy? What the hell is that?
the frowny iPod guy looks like this
LOL. Lugging 5000+ records around would certainly whip one into shape.
& Wait, what’s this… “moderator” on a certain lunar brd?!
I’m always the last to join a party.

I don’t wanna be the one to pee on your iPod parade, but from what I hear Apple’s quality control sucks swamp water.
Not that I would know, I can’t afford one, it’s just what I heard.
How very odd…I’ve only known one other iPod owner (out of 20 or so) who had a sad iPod. Mine is still ticking after >1200 biking miles and almost a year and a half of daily use.
I hope the namechange gives your next iPod better luck!
I had no idea there was ever an iPod frowny guy. First I had ever heard of it. Thanks for taking the time to post it!
