so yes, i’m a terrible, rotten bad TV watcher. after all my giddy excitment about My Name is Earl starring my most-beloved Jason Lee, i missed it.
yes, i didn’t watch it. and if things keep going the way they are, i probably won’t ever watch it. which is just fine with me. why?
because last night’s class ROCKED THE CASBAH. it was so awesome. so totally awesome that i’m like a little kid who just started elementary school and wants to tell everyone about what they learned.
my heart filled with joy and nearly burst when i noticed so many familiar faces in the class. . . Hilary (who has gone back to school for neuroscience), nina, ken. . . it was awesome. and, allegedly, the person known to those who read iwilldare.com comments as dietcokegirl is also in the class. she missed last night’s class because she’s in belize, but she’ll be there next week.
after class a handful of the my ‘mates and i went over to Grumpy’s. i wanted to weep. it’s just so amazing to have so many people who just get it. they know how hard it is to write, and how you still have to have have have to do it. they also totally understand what it’s like to have imaginary people roaming around in your head talking to each other. they know that glorious feeling of creating something new. i just wish i could put it into words.
i think my writing hiatus has been entirely too long. i can’t wait to get back into the swing of things. i haven’t been this excited about anything since, well, since i found out Jason Lee was going to have a show on TV.
OMG IT’S SO EXCITING.
I mean, it is for those of us who have no lives outside our computer screens.
I’m so glad that The Loft is gonna rock. Yay!

I missed it, too. I went to see “The Baxter” starring oh-so-dreamy Justin Theroux and equally dreamy Michele Williams and…? It suck-diddly-ucked.
