so the entire damn state has come down with golfmania, and i just don’t get it. it’s GOLF! thousands of people are going out to chaska to see the PGA thing. pure insanity. my friends have all gone ga-ga for it, and these are usually sane people.

sister #4 is being dragged out there today with a friend. i pity here. i can’t imagine anything more dreadfully boring than watching someone golf. i can sorta understand how it might be entertaining to do. but i’d much rather watch bowling than golf. at least in bowling you can be noisy.
