yeah, so ben folds happened upon me just when i was starting to get uncool. in fact, this was the last band i really discovered before i became a nerd.

they played the song “battle of who could care less” on rev105 and the name of the band is what caught my attention. see, i was still in my full-on ben jones addiction.

it just so happens that the ben folds five were playing at first ave shortly after i first heard the song, so i checked them out and loved it.

ben folds is funny and schmoopy sentimental and i am a sucker for pianos, what can i say?
