today might just have been the most perfect summer day in the entire world. i am not just saying that because it happened to me either.

we went to the zoo. we looked at meerkats (and they didn’t sing “hakuna matata” like in the disney films). i petted a chincilla and a blue-tongued skink. not a skank, but we did see a lot of those there. i think the same people who were at the mall of hell with us yesterday went to the zoo today. we saw camels posing for a family picture. we saw cory whom i used to work with. we watch the dolphin show and it was so amazing i wanted to cry.

then we went to the imax and watched the 3-D cyberworld and it was so amazing i just wanted to pee my pants. 3-D cartoons are quite possibly the coolest things on earth, second only to imax movie seats the size of couches. i could have curled up there and taken a nap. it ruled!

then there was dinner with good french fries, the american pie 2 which made me laugh my fool head off, then driving home singing with soul coughing in the late summer minnesota night time wonderfulness.
