Both Paco and Madison were curled up sorta trying to sleep, when I was suddenly moved by the spirit and burst into a very loud and passionate rendition of Pearl Jam’s “Daughter.” At the same time they lifted their sleepy, fuzzy heads from their paws to look at me, blinked their eyes and stared until I stopped singing. Once my serenade was complete they put their heads back on their paws and went back to sleep.
That’s just one of the fun things the residents of Supergenius Headquarters do for fun.
Tonight I found myself, for the first time in Supergenius history, happy to put the dishes away. But wait, it was more than that, it was that I actually roused myself from the comfy green chair for the sole purpose of emptying the dishwasher. I didn’t do it on my way to the bathroom, or to get a glass of water. It’s madness.
I smiled at the shiny forks and the uncloudy glasses. Once the dishwasher was empty, I opened the utility closet and lewdly rubbed myself against the water softener.
The novelty of living here by myself has not worn off yet. In fact, whenever I walk in the back door, returning from wherever I’ve been, I say to myself, “I’m home. I live here.”
Just so you know, you’re not the only one who innapropriately uses their water softner, while serenading the four legged hairy friends of the house. BE FREE!
We should form a club.
