this is one of the Ganesh’s that Seamy brought back. he now sits on top my monitor. he is called the remover of obstacles. i could use some of that removing magic today. for some reason i’m kind of down in the dumps and a little melancholy. maybe it’s the six to eight inches of snow they have forcast for tomorrow (which means i’ll have to skip class tomorrow night because there’s no way ruby and i are even going to attempt that, we’re wonderwusses since the accident). maybe it’s because i could really use a nap. maybe it’s because i’m a big ol’ baby. maybe because i am really tired of winter and what else is there left to do in march besides be whiny and bitch about your sadlonelinessboredom?
mostly, i think it’s because when i wasn’t looking “Here Comes a Regular” came on Kathleen Turner Overdrive and there’s just no way in hell that you can listen to that song and not get a little sad. hell i always get a little teary-eyed when i hear it. .
They cancelled Loft activities/classes on Monday night…if we get the same type of dumping they’ll probably do it again. If not, I’ll come pick you up again. I just got brand new tires last week and they cut through snow like I’m in a freaken 4×4.
If they cancel classes though that’ll totally fuck up the rest of the schedule. Yuck.
With that song… aint that the truth… then I listen to “Kiss Me On the Bus” and “Skyway” to remind me of home and feel better 🙂
