seamus just stopped by.
“hey,” he said and pointed at me. “there’s this song that i’ve been meaning to ask you about because i just know you’ll know it.”
“how’s it go?” i asked.
“see, i heard it last week and last week i could sing the chorus, this week i can’t remember it.”
“hmm,” i said.
“it was a live version of the song and the crowd sings along. it’s goes something like oh oh oh,” he sang a little.
“yeah, that’s probably ‘Good Things’ by the BoDeans,” i said.
“what?” he asked.
“does it go ‘oh no no don’t pass me over, oh no no no don’t pass me by, see i can see good thing for you and i’?” i sang a little.
“YES!” he shouted. “i knew you’d know. i knew it. i knew it. i knew it. good things by the bodeans.” he rubbed my back. “you’re so smart.”
test
Don’t be getting all testy now.
the word testy always reminds me of this kid Fritz i knew in college who once wrote a column that included the line “keep your testys off my testes.”
Congrats on being the Queen of, “Name That Tune”! I happen to love that song even though it reminds me of being waaay to drunk in the streets of South-Easten Minnesota for about 3 years.
You Rock!

Your superpowers are way cooler than mine. However, mine do include having french fries immediately come out of the grease just as I order them, and creating financial ruin and layoffs for any company I leave.
