and on the first day of my vacation i:
- laid in bed until 11 sleeping, daydreaming, and reading mary gaitskill’s breath-taking bad behavior.
- went to lunch with sister #3 and tony.
- and, bought that swanky couch pictured above only in navy blue and not hideous green.
super productive thus far, i’d say. the only stinky thing is, i have to wait 4-6 weeks to get the supersexxy blue couch, because it’s special order and all. i’m so in love with it.

sister #4 LOVED the green. but i’m really more of a fan of bright blue. besides i really want to get a giant red chair now, and that would look silly with the green.
May I suggest that you get a swatch of the red in the red chair you want and then find a blanket and chenille pillows that match the color of the red chair. Nothing says uber swanky than mixing complimentary solids on each other.
