Day 53 of 200: The Hooker Picture

I didn’t realize it until I sat down to write this post, but Thursday was me & BFK’s 18th Friendiversary. We met September 13, 1999 the first day I started at Jasc. We didn’t really become friends until Octoberish, but you can’t pinpoint the exact moment someone becomes your friend. This is especially difficult when it’s a co-worker. I’ve had a lot of co-workers I adored but once we didn’t work together the friendship went out the door.

Tonight we were at BFK & Atom’s house for bookclub (we discussed the fabulous Baby Teeth by Zoje Stage). At one point Sister #2 or I demanded to see the hooker picture.

Because she’s a gracious hostess and the most organized person ever, BFK got a box from her closest, flipped through a bunch of loose pictures, and within 10 minutes she produced the hooker picture.

It’s one of BFK’s senior pictures where she’s dressed exactly like Julia Robert’s character from the polo scene in “Pretty Woman” — hat, belt, the whole deal.

It’s the best senior picture of all time, and I’m not being biased because she’s my best friend. I took a picture of the picture so I could have it with me always. It’s that rad.
