Day 50 of 200: 1/4 of the Way Through

One good thing happened today. It was really very good and thus you’d think I wouldn’t be such a restless and mildly annoyed jackass, but alas.

I’ll spare you the pointless whining and get to the good stuff.

Another one of the Black Sheep received a major honor today. Bryan was long-listed for the National Book Award for Young People’s Literature for his book We’ll Fly Away. I’m so happy for him that I spent most of the morning in a giddy haze.

Everything else about the day annoyed me to a minor degree for no reason other than I’m cranky.

So I’m 1/4th of the way through my 200 days of 200-word blog posts project. For the most part I’m enjoying it, even though the dear diary tone of most of the entries kinda bug me. To be fair, everything kinda bugs me today. I’M SO ANNOYED.

I need to come up with something interesting to type about or lead a more interesting life. Or maybe I need theme days. Movie Mondays. Taco Tuesdays. Woeful Wednesdays. Thirsty Thursdays. TGIFridays.

Bleh. I’m gonna go read the new Bob Woodward book about Turnip’s presidency that is probably going to give me nightmares.
