I just got an e-mail from Sister #3 that included a link to a story about a man who dropped dead moments after bowling a perfect 300 game. For those of you who are familiar with my short story “Lane 6” you ought to be a little bit creeped out.
Only in my story the guy who dies was only five (see!) frames into a perfect game when he died.

So what you’re saying is that because the actual bowler made it past five frames you’re off the hook. Otherwise, it could be that your short stories were affecting the non-fictional world.
That would be some serious shit to have to live with.
If my short stories are affecting the non-fictional world I better get cracking on that one about me, John Cusak and the wedding Paul Westerberg played at.
