When the dude in “Da Butt” sings “come on, gimme that butt, gimme that butt” is it just a really unsubtle way of begging for anal sex?
Are Clarence Clemons and Jackson Browne really friends? Are we supposed to believe Darryl Hannah is really singing backup? Does the line “I’m the one who always makes you laugh until you cry” really mean I’ll be nice to you until I get all domestically violent on your face?
P.S. VH1 Classics is also, apparently, running a Bob Dylan marathon on Thursday that includes No Direction Home: Bob Dylan, Don’t Look Back, and Unplugged. I am oddly excited.

According to wikipedia Daryl is singing backup in the song.
“You Are A Friend Of Mine” reminds me of a former friend of mine who I am no longer friends with. We used to sing this song in the car all happy and giddy about being such good friends. Then I dated a girl he dumped in a crappy way, and then he decided we shouldn’t be friends. I guess I learned first-hand that you shouldn’t ever date a friend’s ex, but on the other hand, she was pretty awesome and we dated for a while until I left for boot camp.
