i’m in the process of catching another cold. i’m surprised i’ve managed to go unplague-ridden so long. both jess and al, the cutest girl on earth?, have had the plague in the past few weeks and now i think the germs have jumped the hallway and infected me.
i think. i can’t quite tell. i’ve got the sexxy gravel voice going on and i’m sneezing like a cartoon character around a pepper shaker. i’m going to try this mind over matter nonsense and just keep telling myself that i’m not sick in hopes that my body will finally believe it.
because, really who wants to be sick on BESTERBERG DAY? yes, today i get to venture out into the great wide open and get the newest st. paul westerberg CD. i’m totally, totally excited beyond words. because new paul westerberg CDs, even greatest hits CDs make me happier than most anything else.
Yes…it matters NOT that we’ve heard the songs before. It matters not that it’s regurgitated. Paul regurgitates better than anyone else…. Besides…it’s got that cool name BESTERBERG. The average person says “Paul who?” And then I have to traipse into the realm of “you dumb butt…let me explaaaaain…then let me subject you to hours of music…right NOW…you shall be converted!!!”
The absolute best part of besterberg? Today is MY birthday! Paul….gave me a present.
