ight ight ight ipple and banighnighs

for reasons that remain a mystery to me i woke up this morning with a Barney song stuck in my head. it’s the apples and bananas song. the one that goes “i like to eat, eat, eat apples and bananas.” and then you go through and switch out the different vowel sounds through each verse of the song. so O goes like, “i like to oat oat oat opples and bononos.” the O verse is my favorite.

i think perhaps i woke up with that song in my head, because i wrote about the Wilsons last night and the Wilson twins (the kids i was nannying) LOVED that song. we sang it quite a bit.

anyway the song has been replaced by “who are the people in your neighborhood” because i followed a link from the mighty girl blog to a photo project about the people in your neighborhood.

to be honest, i’m not sure which song is worse. i’m hoping by loudly blasting the queers i can eradicate both from my brain.

i don’t know that one. but i do know the one that says “six little ducks that i once knew, fat ones, skinny ones, fair ones, too. but the one little duck with the feather on his back, he lead the others with a quack quack quack. quack quack QUUUUAAACCCKK.”

    i love that one.
