i loved red dawn, but only because it had c. thomas howell in it. he was ponyboy curtis in the outsiders (which was my all-time favorite movie for too many years to count. . . ‘let’s do it for jonny!’). and well, i loved c. thomas howell so much that i used to walk up to Snyder Drug and buy all the Tiger Beat and Teen Beat magazines i could find, then i would cut out his photos and paste it into a scrapbook and write I *heart* ponyboy next to the pictures.
