fun dipping

i decided all on my own that it would be a good idea to bust into some of the Lik-M-Aid Fun Dip i got for my birthday. since there are three flavors, GrapeYUMPTIOUS, Cherry-YUMDIDDLY, and RazzAppleMAGIC, and i’m at work, i took the conservative approach and only opened one of the flavors. as a child this was not my perferred method of Fun Dipping at all. usually i opted to just rip the top off of all three flavor repositories and dip right in with my piece of chalk. it all tasted the same anyway– pure sugar with a vaugely fruit aftertaste.

i chose the RazzAppleMAGIC because it purports to change color and flavor. don’t believe the hype. the flavor is still just sort of pure sugar with the vaguely fruity aftertaste and the only place it changes is color is on the Lik-a-Stix (also know as the chalk).

of course this mildly disappointing adult experience with Fun Dip has not stopped the sugar from filtering into my system and causing me to want to bounce off the walls. nor has it diluted my urge to dump the Fun Dip into a glass of water to see if i can’t make Kool Aid.

My daughter loves this stuff. It’s like crack for kids.

lik-m-aid is one of my most favorite things on the planet. much better than the old pixie stix.

maybe i’ll pick some up before class tonight….it will make workshopping that much more interesting.
