artguy just actually spoke to me. it’s weird. he usually does not speak to me, ever. just gives me the odd look on ocassion and then e-mails all day.
in other news, i find that i am strangely drawn to diet coke with lime flavor. the lemon stuff is absolutely disgusting. but the lime, is refreshingly delicious. perhaps i just like the nifty green cap. who knows. what i do know is that i can’t seem to get enough.
in still other news i have an amazon gift certificate AND some archway dutch cocoa cookies AND a 2 o’clock meeting to go to.

I’ve been ordering diet colas with lime for some time. The acid in the lime, as well as the taste, masks the nutrasweet “gummy” taste that coats your mouth afterwards. It;s a good drink… It’s better with a real, honest-to-goodness lime squeezed, then tossed in. I even drink Diet Mt. Dew with a lime in it once I discovered it’s aftertaste killing properties.
I heard about the new diet coke with lime but haven’t tried it yet. Rumor has it they’re reformulating the lemon version at some point too. Because, yeah, it is pretty gross.
I tried the diet coke with lime flavor from the lady at wal-mart the other day, and wasn’t so impressed. I honestly had to choke it down and felt bad about it, because the grandma-like lady that was handing it out just seemed so proud of it – like it was her own invention or something.
in all fairness to honestly enjoy the full limey-goodness of the diet coke with lime you have to drink a full ten ounces. that first 10oz. is a nasty lime-flavored bunch of weirdness. i think, perhaps, it’s an acquired taste.
I like the stuff.. It’s like a Rum & Coke you can guzzle while driving!
I LOVE Diet Coke w/ Lime. it’s my new flavourite drink. though I should really be drinking more water. but what fun is that?
i’ll stick with just vanilla in my coke… thanks.
