i know it’s kind of low, but to me it’s high time

as part of The Great Apartment Redesign 2003 (yes it’s still ongoing. i’m slow), i bought a clock. an actual clock with hands and stuff. see, i only have one clock. it’s an alarm clock and i tend to keep that in the bedroom. sure there’s a clock on my computer and my cellphone, but that’s not real convienent.

[side note: it’s no wonder i’m always, always, always late for most everything. i had no clocks! ok, that’s a lie. i’m always late because i am an optimist. i always think it won’t take me long to do all the stuff i need to do before i need to go to wherever i am supposed to be. it’s never, ever the case. it always takes longer than i planned and i’m always late. yet, i still remain optimistic about it all.]

so i hung the new clock this afternoon and it looks super swanky. but i’m a bit neurotic about it’s ability to keep proper time. so i have to keep checking the time on the computer to make sure they say approximately the same time. it’s kind of a hassle. so far it’s right on. maybe after a couple of hours i will trust it.

    CONGRATULATIONS!

You actually sound just like my hubby. His ‘optimism’ makes us late for lot of things, which drives me crazy!

I just leave him behind nowadays…
