is there any email on earth that makes you happier than the amazon “your order has shipped” email? what’s even better is when you get that email and dash off to ups.com to track your package and it says it will be in your hot little hands tomorrow, just in time for a leisurely weekend of nothing to do.

Yeah, and if the closer that email comes to the time you actually placed the order, the better the email.
All I ever get from Amazon.com is “One or more items of your order is out of stock. If you do not respond by such-and-such date, we will cancel your order.” Damnit! They said it would ship in 2-3 days and now it is 2-3 weeks!
A leisurely weekend of nothing to do?!?! I hope you have some that you WANT to do.
