for those who are begging to know the deep dark secrets of my beloved ruby, she’s a 1999 chevy S10, tasty bite-sized pickem up truck. she has power nothing which i was pouting about until Stinky (the brother in law) asked me if boop-boop locks and a cd-player were worth $5,000, because if they were i was more than welcome to buy the 2001 S10.
that shut me up quickly. also the fact that i only paid $1000 over blue-book value and $3500 less than the MSRP made me quite happy. she had 30115 miles when i picked her up today. she’s only had one other owner, some guy named Dwight from Wisconsin.
sometime soon, the stink will put in sister #4’s old 12-disc CD changer and then i will be the queen of the land.
My lovely 1990 Toyota Camry is also named Ruby… they must be sisters of some sort. I, however, am an actual bona-fide lesbian, though my Amazon profile would more likely indicate a neurotic David Bowie fanatic with an obession for true stories of horrific time periods (holocaust, slavery, internment camps.) Oh, wait, that is me…
Well, liked the site, thanks for the read!
thank you! i really needed to hear that. and i think everyone should tell there amazon stereotypes.
I love the name Ruby – for a truck or a child. My SUV has been re-named Shrek – no previous names seemed to fit.
My Amazon profile: Lesbian, buddhist poet on a spiritual and literary quest while listening to Indie Aria and Nelly Furtado. It sounds much more well directed then I actually am.
