Muriel’s Wedding is on tv right now. i was a senior in college when this movie came out. i remember my favorite professor standing in the hallway of Hibbard Humanities Hall and telling me how he saw this movie and it reminded him of me. he said i would love it. he was dead right.
watching muriel is just so very, very painful. she’s a lot like me. but i think i hide my painful awkwardness a bit better.
