things are pretty slow are around the ol’ place of employ lately. it sort of sucks ass. really. because nothing is worse than being here when you don’t have great gobs of stuff to do. it’s really bad for someone like me who only really thrives when there’s so much to do that i don’t appear to think straight, but in actuality it’s the only time i’m thinking straight.
so anyway, slow slow slow. right? got it? so you think i’d have nothing better to do than catch up on e-mail, post, etc.
WRONG.
why? because i work with a bunch of people who do not know how to amuse themselves. whenever they get a little bored or need a break they head over to my desk. i’m sick of being the entertainment, it’s making me ugly and angrier than i usually am. i’m trying to be honest. “keep moving,” i tell kappakappakappa when he turns the corner near my desk. “don’t even think of sitting down,” i say to the art guy as he pulls out the chair that sits in front of the table next to my desk.
but they all think i’m kidding. only, see, i am not kidding. i’m not kidding at all.
so now, i am just going to punch anyone who stops by right in the neck. i think then, perhaps, they’ll get the idea.
Make a fist, extend the middle knuckle, center on the windpipe.
For a more non-violent approach…get a pair of chunky studio headphones, cover the ears and turn up the radio. If someone walks up, don’t take ’em off.
Have you tried bad breath and b.o.?

you can punch the evil munchkin in the neck once for me, if the situation arises!
