Athazagoraphobia- Fear of being forgotton or ignored or forgetting*
Autodysomophobia- Fear of one that has a vile odor orange tim has this phobia for sure.
Chrometophobia or Chrematophobia- Fear of money.
Chromophobia or Chromatophobia- Fear of colors.
Coitophobia- Fear of coitus
Defecaloesiophobia- Fear of painful bowels movements
Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia- Fear of long words (so, if you have this phobia can you even tell anyone your affliction?)
Ithyphallophobia- Fear of seeing, thinking about or having an erect penis
Onomatophobia- Fear of hearing a certain word or of names (my bestfriendinthewholewideworld and sister #2 both have this. Jodi Hanson gets scared and wigs out if you say grither at christmas time. . . ericka wigs out when you say cornicopea)

Scoleciphobia- Fear of worms* (and this is no laughing matter)

ahhh… someone else who has athazagoraphobia. *nodnod* um, yeah.
I am very distraught, there does exist a fear of jello. I have suffered from this fear for 19 long years. If it hasn’t been named, let us name it Gelaphobia!!! There has to be someone else out there that is frightened by JELLO!!!!!
Came across your page while looking at phobias. I also have Athazagoraphobia…and would like to mention that there is no phobia for the fear of being lost… I would also like to say that although i don’t suffer from it, the fear of Jello is completely legitimate! 🙂
I too have a serious fear of jelly (jello). I dont know why i have it but ive had it my whole life. Im terrified of the texture, the way it moves, the smell, and I will not be in a room with any other gelitinous product. People laugh at me but its revolting stuff.
Jello is the scariest thing in the world, the way that it moves and jiggles disgusts me. Its unearthly. Its not snakes, spiders, or even serial killers that give me nightmares, its jello.
I also have serious problems with jello. I do not know why, but it scares me. I’m having trouble writing this right now because I don’t like to think about it. The weird thing is that I can eat other jellied products like cranberry sauce, etc., but.. there is just something about jello that gives me the chills. yuck

My friend and I were jokingly looking up our fears during our computer class and I came across this site. :-p I have to admit that I am absolutely terrified of worms so you’re not alone! haha. I know they can’t pose a threat to me but they’re so squirmy and slimy and ugh!!! I’m giving myself chills! I’m scared of snakes too but for some reason worms bother me even more! Weird I know but I can’t help it. Even at 17 i’m still just terrified of them. Mom says I’ve hated them ever since I was about 3. :-p
I am TERRIFIED of worms! I remember I was sitting on grass with my friends one day and one just appeared and touched my hand – I ran off screaming and crying! It’s disgusting, it really is.
I really hate worms. i’m trying to do this video self-portrait and my fear of worms but i can’t even search for pictures of worms or even look at the pictures of them without having a heart attack. there are so many worms when it rains in brooklyn (represent!) ooooh! what to do!
and to top it off, my boyfriend eats gummi worms all the time!! AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
I am afraid of worms because i actually tape worms before. That was when i was 2 now i am 22 and in perfect health but the thought of seeing touching and people talking about worms gets me really creeped out.

i am petrified of worms…..i have been since the first time my brother put one in my hand when i was 2 years old….i can’t even stand gummi worms either… when i was 9 i had to walk across my our drive way and gravel road to get on the bus i had to have my dad give me a ride to school cuz i would not go outside at all….i am not proud of the fear, and i really hate it i have tried so hard for so long to get over it but it just will not go away and it doesn’t help to live on a farm and see them all the time!!! and i totally agree it is definitely NOT a laughing matter!!
I am so scared of worms! I paid someone a dollar for every worm they got out of my lane at my track meet! That is, after I got done crying and got off the bus! Worms should jus’ *ugh* be rid of the earth!

well well well… to tell you guys the truth i LOVE jello!! and worms are cool.:) they are. i hate snakes though. i am acared that they are going to attact my feet or legs.. UMM BUT I LIKE CHEESE ..???LOL j.k. umm yeah WHAT DO PEOPLE THINK OF DOGS!!????? I LOVE DOGS 🙂
omg…my fear of worms is sooooo severe. everytime it rains and i have to walk through my parking lot or a drive way, i start hyperventilating or i will either freeze. if i absolutely have to walk through them, i will panic and take off running and screaming. i won’t even touch my shoes until they are washed and i immediatley change my pants because they touched the ground. my ears get really hot for some reason lol and i just about go into a panick attack whenever i’m around worms! this also goes for maggots or any bugs that look like a worm. and i don’t have a problem with snakes unless they are those small skinny ones that are teenie tiny. anyone else have this problem???

I USE TO PLAY WITH WORMS WHEN I WUZ LITTLE.MY DOG HAD GOTTEN THESES LITTLE WHITE WORMS AND I WACTHED CRAWL OUT OF ITS BUTT AND FECSES,MY MOM COOKED SPAGGHETTI AND I JUST GOT IN FROM PLAYING WITH SOME WORMS AND THA SPAGGHETTI LOOKED LIKE THA DISMEMBERED WORMS I PLAYED WITH, I THREW UP.IVE SEEN ALOT OF WORMS DO WIERD THINGS A BUNCH OF WORMS WERE CRAWLING TOGETHER,ONE WORM WAS REALY LONG IT HAD A FLAT HEAD IT WUZ SLIMY.THEY MAKE ME NERVOUS,BUT HAVE A COMPULSION TO LOOK AT THEM AND LEARN ABOUT THEM. I HAVE HAD MANY NIGHTMARES ABOUT TAPEWORMS AND HOOKWORMS,IM AFRAID I WILL GET THEM.I HATE THEM,I WONDER IF THERE OUTSIDE IN THA GRASS,I DONT EAT PORKCHOPS.JUST SOME THINGS I THINK AND DO I DONT KNOW IF ANYONE CAN RELATE……
Well, I thought that I was the only one on the planet with a fear of worms!! Last night I was thinking about it because a worm made it’s way into the garage, and I screamed and gagged, and made my friend take it out, then I made her wash her hands, and I stood on a crate for the remainder of the time in the garage. I wish I had a cure because it’s kind of embarrasing when you scream because of a worm, and if I accidently step on one, those shoes are going in the trash. I also always roll my pants up if it’s raining, for fear that a worm might make it’s way ontp my pant leg. Any advise would be welcomed!

The fear of jello- seriously a problem, i get near tears when i talk about it.
The fear of Barney- can’t watch PBS, 2 SCARED
The fear of cults- I couldn’t find this one.
And a fear of Sports- i hated gym class they made me play even though i was scared of sports…

omg.. ii am 13 years old and ii have a fear of worms they freak the hell out of me they are squiggly, slimy and nasty.. ii cant even disect dead ones and wen it rains here in japan

I am so glad to know others out there have a fear of Jell-o. All my friends and family make fun of me and have for 26 years now. I know where my fear comes from. And I figured that if people could have a fear of the fuzz on the outside of a peach, that there would be a ligitimit name for the fear of Jell-o. But sadly I can’t find one. Thank you all though for helping me realize that I am not alone in this fear.
i thought i was the only one with this intense fear of jello.It is the most disgusting substance on the face of the earth. I think that anyone who eats this stuff is crazy.How can you eat something that wiggles down your throat.It makes me gag.
