because of something christopher wrote, i decided to get rid of some baggage. old crap i haven’t looked at in years. stuff that i really, really don’t need– stuff i’m not even sure why i kept. included in the great purge is a gob of old college papers including:
- Critique of Cool Pose: The Dilemmas of Black Manhood in America
- English 290 Final Exam
- The Problem of the Color-line: A Review of The Souls of Black Folk
- everything i ever wrote of Journalism 322 News Reporting
- Dick and Jane, Shirleym and Pecola’s Role in The Bluest Eye
- South Africa: The History and Future of an Apartheid State
- Gannet v. DePasquale Brief for Media Law
- The Press in China
- Midterm Exam for Visual Communications
- Image of Black Manhood: Reactions to Malcolm X
- The Role Gender Plays in the Slave Narratives of Frederick Douglas and Harriet A. Jacobs
- Thoreau and Civil Disobedience
- U.S. Policy Toward China Following the Tiananmen Square Massacre
- Setting the Agenda for a Greenhouse
you know, if i wrote all those papers and i didn’t too bad on most of them (C+ being the worst of them), i should be a hell of a lot smarter than i am.

Considering that it was your stuff which helped to inspire the tone & direction of my site, I’m glad I could somehow sort of return the favor.
I’m *still* going through stuff (and likely will be for weeks–(long story)), and I haven’t found any papers I wrote. I have found issues of Entertainment Weekly dating back to 1998, though. I can’t fathom what made me not only hold on to them, but move them at least once…
