The best $12 I ever spent. I’ve wanted Whip-Smart on vinyl forever. It completes the triumvirate of records that act as the soundtrack to much of my writing. Every time I’ve looked on eBay for this record it’s always something ridiculous like $40. On a fluke while purchasing a new power cord for Jed, I bid on this. $8 or $9 was my max. Much to my surprise, I won. Now, maybe I can finally get around to hanging stuff on the walls of the Fortress of Solitude (it’s only been two years since I painted it).

When I downloaded the photos from my camera I found about 39 (no exaggeration) of my TV. I vaguely remember Nolie telling me he was going to take pictures of the Boot Scootin’ Boogie video so he could show his dad. It is clear to me I need to pay more attention.

Sometimes we stick googly-eyes on our faces and pretend to be monsters.
Whip-Smart is always the soundtrack in my head to the time I lived in Minneapolis (all six months).
