The new love of my life

Isn’t she glorious? She arrived around noon today. I carefully disrobed her and then spent an hour making sweet sweet love to her, strumming and singing “I love you Darren. I love you Darren. Darren, I love you.”

I thought for awhile that she might be a boy, but I was wrong. She’s totally totally a girl, an as yet unnamed girl.

I’m so giddy in love that I was totally bummed that I didn’t have the foresight to get me some guitar picks. But, alas, my bowlers came to the rescue. Kent called his roommate to bring me down some. How much do the bowlers rock?

So welcome to my New Year’s Resolution 2007: learn to the play the guitar.

    Dear Ms. Jodi,

    Is scared of garden gnome-ees

    Is everyone’s online homie
She rocks it in the zoney
    Practicing makes her… moan-ey

    She’s Jodi
    She’s Jodi
Her mind is free to roam-ey
With her money she makes a loan-ey
Makes a call with her phone-y
Just to say, “What up, G?”

    She’s Jodi

    Loves herself some Mike Doughty!

    She is Jodi!
    If only you had known-ey!

As soon as I learn to play chords and can stop playing I love you Darren, I will learn this one.
