Isn’t she glorious? She arrived around noon today. I carefully disrobed her and then spent an hour making sweet sweet love to her, strumming and singing “I love you Darren. I love you Darren. Darren, I love you.”
I thought for awhile that she might be a boy, but I was wrong. She’s totally totally a girl, an as yet unnamed girl.
I’m so giddy in love that I was totally bummed that I didn’t have the foresight to get me some guitar picks. But, alas, my bowlers came to the rescue. Kent called his roommate to bring me down some. How much do the bowlers rock?
So welcome to my New Year’s Resolution 2007: learn to the play the guitar.
Dear Ms. Jodi,
In honor of your new geetar, I just wrote your first song for you.
The chords are G – D – C, repeat.
Here’s the lyrics:

As soon as I learn to play chords and can stop playing I love you Darren, I will learn this one.
DAY-AM, that’s a pretty guitar.
Wow, you’re picking up the axe. I’m proud of you.
