• I woke up this morning singing ‘Bullet with Butterfly Wings’ by the Smashing Pumpkins. I hate the Pumpkins with the same kind of vitrol that I usually save for the Barenaked Ladies, Train, Matchbox 20 and Gwen Stefani.
• I just took a hit off a week-old Diet Coke with Lime.
• I’ve listened to Shiftless When Idle about 39 times today, because it fits.
• I’m going over to FFJ’s after work. Good things will happen.
• After 8.5 months, I finally picked out some photos from the photoshoot Al, the cutest girl on earth™ did, they arrived today and are a-w-e-s-o-m-e.
• I have officially decided that The Kooks are my new favorite band.
• I ain’t got no idols, I ain’t got much taste
• Seamus brought in homemade chocolate chip cookies. God love Seamus.

I quit drinking DCwL. Since that’s the only soda I drank, that means I have quit drinking soda altogether.
Water with a twist of lime isn’t quite the same, but I get to sleep a lot easier without all the caffeine coursing through my veins, so it’s a fair trade.
first of all i would rather shrivel up and die than give up my daily can of Diet Coke with Lime. I have successfully limited myself to one soda pop a day, and god do I fucking love that soda.
Second of all, Thanks Lori and Charles. I’m waist deep in some kind of funk that leaves me listless and completely unwitty and without words. It will pass eventually.
