Everyone go give some mad props to Kelly for garnering an Honorable Mention in the Loft’s Mentorship program. She totally deserves it and I’m so happy for her. Once again, however, The Loft refuses to see that I’m a creative and literary genius. Fuckers.

Perhaps you did something wrong on your application? That’s what I think happened to people (you included) that should have gotten in and did not. If they had been exposed to the literary genius that is you, they couldn’t possibly have resisted putting you on the list.

To address your comments about Vox. I think Sister #2 chose Vox simply for the level of control it gives you in allowing who can and cannot comment and read the kids’ blogs. Max and Jaycie are only 7 & 8 and having that kind of control on the internet is important to her.
So while it sucks that a lot of cool people won’t be able to interact with them, it’s way cooler that she can easily keep assholes and creeps away from them.
