Things are not going well today in the land of the Supergenius. I’m not quite sure what my damage is today, but there are hate rays radiating from my eyes at any hapless human who has the misfortune of crossing my path. Except for FFJ who just told me that I “rickety rock the cashbar.” Which kind of made me laugh outloud.
It’s not quite a funk, because a funk is mopey. This is a rage of some sort. It’s quite active in its vehement need to destroy all that crosses its path. Every time I open my mouth corrosive acid spews forth maiming everyone. I even managed to reduce Finance Guy to tears over lunch. Luckily it was tears of laughter, but they were brought on by pure bitchiness.
He and Seamus were talking about the movie Crash.
“Are we talking about the Good Crash or the Bad Crash?” I asked.
“The one that won the Oscar,” Seamus said.
“God, I hated that movie.” I said.
“What?” Finance Guy asked. “You hate all the good movies.”
“Oh, Oh,” I said. “Racism is bad. The end. Fucking please.”
“Come on,” Seamus said. “It was a little deeper than that.”
“Everyone is racist no matter what color they are, and it is bad.”
At that, the Finance Guy just started laughing so hard I thought he was going to fall off his chair. I will probably have to chop off his head later in the day, or make him randomly vomit cherry pits all over his cube for no other reason other than I’m really fucking crabby today.
