i went to the local barnes and noble because i had to buy a calendar. see the super awesome 2005 calendar featuring pictures of the twin cities had, clearly, run out. it was driving me absolutely batty because i never realized until right now how many times a day i look at the calendar. it’s roughly 39,291 times. i counted.
usually i avoid Barnes and Noble like the plague because it often reduces me fits of apoplectic rage since i can never find anything but 39,928 Stephen King books, 20,938 copies of the latest Oprah pick, and about 392,091 books by John Grisham, Janet Evanovich and James Patterson. but, well, i needed a calendar in the worst way.
so i ventured forth into that dark bookstore, i did. first, you should know that if you are in desperate need of a cute kitten and/or puppy calendar, hightail it to the nearest Barnes and Noble because they have more kitty/puppy calendars than they do Stephen King books. second, if you do need a puppy/kitty calendar go to the EP Barnes and Noble, because the cashier guy who is about 22 looks just like Sweet Rob. he’s not a total doppleganger, but there is something really vodoesque about this sweet B&N cashierboy. i totally want to do him now, because he’s got that long dark hair, geek glasses, vulnerable writer thing about him. i plan on hanging out at B&N all the damn time now.
Dude I am so there!! And not for the puppy or kitty calendars.
I will come check him out if you come to NYC and check out the hot guy at the liquor store in Grand Central Station. He looks like Berger on Sex In The City. At least to me.
oh, and by the way, you can re-use your 1995 calendar this year. It is the same. (ha!)
Aw, sadness. I work for the competition.
do you have any hot boys who work there? because i’m not loyal.
Except to hot boys.
not even to them UH, not even to them.
I didn’t mean to specific hot boys, just the idea of hot boys in general.
