today, i have become obsessed with finding new linens for my bedroom. i like the ones i have, in their flannely goodness, but i’ve decided that i’d like a short break from the spaceman spiff theme of my bedroom. i’m a 32 (almost 33) year-old woman, it might be time to have a bedroom that doesn’t look like it’s inhabited by a highly-literate 7-year-old boy.
but here’s my question? where do you buy sheets for your bed? my spaceman spiff ensemble came from the company store and linens and things (i have two sets of galactic themed bedroom stuff). but am i overlooking a totally rad place to get funky sort of bedroom stuff? i looked at target and everything here looks like something my grammu would have liked.
where does the young hip not-quite-33-year-old woman go for good bedroom stuff?
http://www.cb2.com. It’s the hip, funky kid sibling of Crate & Barrel.
i like the 400 or 600 thread count sheets (found in most department stores) – very adult and really soft!
Bed Bath and Beyond, duh!
Or KMart, but only for the Martha Stewart collection.
OK, I kid. Go here: http://www.dreamsoftbedware.com/index.html
Look for the 1,000 count Egyptian cotton sheets. You’ll never want to get out of bed again.
try West Elm:

I really like Crate and Barrel – if your in to funky patterns
IKEA has some cool looking sheets and blankets and stuff, but they’re not the greatest quality.
