we’ve been dancing with mr. brownstone, he’s been knocking and he won’t leave me alone

i left most of the G’N’R loving to sister #2 and jodi hanson, being as i was much much too busy getting my groove on to the likes of limited warranty, the jets, and janet jackson. even so, i admit that on many an occassion i was known to jump onto the coffee table and swivel a hip while Axl screeched out “Welcome to the Jungle.”

that must be why, i could not seem to take my eyes off the New York Times’ exhaustive look at “Chinese Democracy”, the unreleased G’N’R album and possibly the most expensive record never made.

holy crap, the jets. i rocked out to them on my walkman hardcore back then. and didn’t they also sing the theme song to one of those disney afternoon cartoons or something? i think it was probably chip’n’dale: rescue rangers!

ahem. um….anyway, so the jets, they were pretty cool.
