i think working in a corporate office environment would be much more pleasurable if they made it a policy that everyone has to take a 1 o’clock break for a booty dance. it would be a mandaory company activity, where everyone, no matter where they were would have to shake there booty for a song or two.

thanks to Winamp3’s marvelous shuffle feature, i just got the double whammy of TLC’s “No Scrubs” and Bel Biv Devoe’s “Do Me.” I was propelled out of my chair and forced by some act of god to shake my booty around the entire apartment. there was shimmying, shaking, arm motions, head bobs, hip thrusts, you name it.

now, i am back in my chair and re-energized for copyediting chapters 18-22.

do it now, do it for yourself, take the 1 o’clock bootyshakebreak. i dare you. you get extra special bonus points if you shake to bel biv devoe’s “do me” and you remember the “backstage underage, adolescent, how ya doin’? fine, she depart, i sigh, like to do the wild thing, action took place. . .” part.
