since i can’t write, i am going to curl up in bed with my new favorite 6’5″ redhaired boy. he’s Gurney from John Beckman’s The Winter Zoo. so far gurney’s kind of an emotional trainwreck, having left his newborn baby in iowa to run to poland and hang out with his cousin jane who he’s got this weird sort of sex thing for. yeah, i like my men tall and fucked up, clearly. i like the book so far, because they make much of gurney’s height, which is my height, so i dig that. oh, and it’s well written thus far, but really, that’s besides the point ain’t it?
