thoughts after spending the afternoon watching Back to the Future, well and the making of and the little mini-documentary thing they did a few years back an most everything else on the dvd too:
1. huey lewis was really misguided on how long he thought his fame would last. in the making of portion he says something to the effect of, “if this gets on MTV i’m done, people will be like, ‘huey who?'” yeah, maybe huey could see into the future.

2. eric stoltz would have made a wretched marty mcfly, no matter how much i love his redheaded yumminess.

3. i think Back to the Future may have been the start of my skaterboy fetish. so we can probably blame that whole thing on michael j. fox as alex p. keaton, because i loved him before i even knew who marty mcfly was and long before i lost my virginity to the purpley-haired skaterpunk.

now i am going to go watch the hours. i wonder if it’s gonna make me cry.
