the mysterious mind of a supergenius

everyday before work i frantically search my apartment for my car keys. i touch those keys just about every sinlge day. and yet, i still have to search from the frantically every single day.

tonight, i wanted to listen to This American Life and still work on the book. but it’s not posted on their site and well the stereo is in the bedroom, where oberon is not.

so i decided hey, i’ll use my walkman. yes, the walkman that i haven’t listened to since about 1996. and once i made the decision i jumped up from my chair and unearthed the dusty walkman from the bottom of a crate, a really dusty crate.

the moral of this story, i can only find stuff that i haven’t used in seven years, and never find the stuff that i used seven minutes ago. i’m not sure what this says about me.

I have a similar problem – I’ll get up from the PC and take 5 steps, then stop and wonder what it was I was going to do in the first place.

I just came upon your blog via weblogs.com and I’m enjoying it! I’ve blogrolled you so I can drop by often 🙂

I found that amusing and familiar. And in relatively no time at all.
