tales of loneliness and death

i’ve just finished reading Sleep Toward Heaven by Amanda Eyre Ward. it’s about love, and loneliness, and death. i quite enjoyed it. you should read it if you like such things. i’d give it a good solid 3.5 to 4 stars. i’ve been eating up books lately– i always find solace in the pages. now, i think i will work for a bit.

Books can be a good escape. But books are around for a long time, people seldom are.

See her, Jodi. Don’t be strong if you don’t want to be, but be there for your and her sake.

I’ve thought of thousand conversations I’d love to have had with my father, but never did. I never will.

    Be there.

Two good songs for your situation: (songs, like books, are like medication for me), David Crosby’s “Traction in the Rain” and Bruce Cockburn’s “Joy Will Find a Way”.
