i am a girl getting things done. i just called and have a 3 o’clock appointment at the eye doctor. contacts here i come! i haven’t worn contacts in like a year.
i hope i can resist the urge to get new glasses at the same time. i love, love, love wearing glasses. but when sunglass season hits, i like having the contact option. i don’t ever wear contacts in the winter because it’s too damn dry here and it’s sorta like having potato chips in my eyes.
damn i wish i had the digicam. so many things to show you. the great apartment redesign, new hair cut, new non-glassesed eyes. sheesh. that’s the last time i let anyone take the cam on an extended vacation.

I love, love, love my glasses too. My big solution to the sunglasses dilemma was to have new lenses put into some old frames. Now I have prescription sunglasses.
But I also think it’s fun to make a change every now and then, so enjoy your contacts!
I think you should just feel all arounds and describe everything that way… Be blind for a day and tell us all about it…
I wore contacts when I was in college and switched back to glasses after I graduated, and I probably won’t ever go back to contacts, just because they’re so much work. And I look better in glasses.
It does suck not being able to wear cute sunglasses, so when it’s sunny, I do a lot of squinting.
for me, it’s all about having options. i like having glasses, and contacts and sunglasses and what not. i think i might even get a box of snazzy colored contacts just for fun. since both my eyes are the same prescription, i can just buy one box. whee!
See, I have two different prescriptions, which added to my astigmatism and extreme near-sightedness add up to significant expense in vision correction. I’ve never had a job where I’ve had vision coverage, so it’s always been an out of pocket expense for me.

I for one think that glasses on a cute girl are very attractive…
My cool glasses came with the option of clip on sunglasses, exactly the same shape of the lens, so that way no squinting in the sun. My husband and girls actually like me in glasses more than without, they work great for hiding under eye bags if you choose just the right shape. Plus when you do things like chip wood and weed whack they help keep flying bits from going into your eyes. I’m so blind without them the last time I tried on new ones my husband brought the polaroid camera so I could compare how I looked in different frames after I put my glasses back on, isn’t that sweet??
Girls in glasses are just irresistible!
