i’ve spent the day locked away in Angry Housewives Eating Bon Bons. i love Lorna Landvik, i’ve loved every one of her books. she’s minnesotan, so are her books. how can i not love them?

this book is about four women who live in minnesota and love books. yeah, it was made for me. while the jumpy narrative (first person to third person) kind of annoyed me at first, i’ve gotten used the rhythm. i got the book on thursday and i’m pretty sure i’ll finish up the last 30 pages of this 400 page book before i go to bed tonight.

it’s so nice. this is exactly what i needed today. to get lost in a book where i don’t have to think. thank you lorna.
