this one moment

sister club, with special guest amandahugnkiss, was in full swing with american idol on the tv. sister #3 was filling us in on all the details of every single episode, since a majority of us had never watched one before last night.

things were just ducky until the 8 o’clock hour drew near. it seems there was a sudden conflict of interest. sister #3 just had to watch the grand finale or she would die. sisters #2 and #4 were pretty sure their lives would be in jeopardy if they didn’t watch big brother.

while WWIII loomed, a compromise was surprisingly and quickly reached. sister #2 and #4 would watch big brother and switch to american idol during commercials.

yeah, it all sounded good in theory– until CBS wouldn’t come in. try as they might sisters #2 and #4 couldn’t get the channel to come in. they were in a panic. they unplugged cables, futzed with remotes, cried, called mamala down at the bowling alley, but to no avail. there was no big brother to be had.

and as the tension climbed as their frustration rose, sister #3 and i just sat on the couch and giggled.
