it seems golf-fever has taken over my normally cool friends. i just had to listen to kari and michelle gush, GUSH, over all these professional golfers that i’ve never heard of. it’s weird. they’ve been turned into these ubergolf geeks who are just giddy with this whole PGA hooha.
“i hope you know that you can never make fun of me again,” i said.
“yeah, right,” kari said.
“no, really, you guys are the biggest geeks.”
“ok, person who reads books,” michelle said.
“GEEKS,” i said. “you guys are golf geeks!”
somehow i suspect they are still going to make fun of me.
