so i lied. i was gonna write 492 things about the past two days. but then i went to happy hour which turned into a few happier hours than i intended. the drinks were pink yummy girlie drinks and they went down like juice and i had a few of them in the happy few hours.
it was michelle’s birthday and celebrating had to be done.
i outdid myself on her gift this year. it was just too funny for words. getting her a creativity starter kit that included a barbie coloring book, a glittery composition notebook (if she wants to write poetry), 24 crayons, cliff notes for arthur miller’s death of a salesman, shrinky dinks, three bright pink pens and i think that’s it.
if you knew michelle and if you could read all the captions that went with the gifts you’d realize just how damn, damn funny this is. everyone said it’s one of the best birthday gifts they’ve seen since last year.
last year i got michelle, who likes to fake bake, the skin cancer care kit. it involved aloe vera, moisturizer, deoderant, and some other really funny stuff.
so yes there was a happy hour (or 4) and it was much fun. and now i must go rest my weary bones. tomorrow, perhaps, there will be pictures and stories of the fair.
