she’s as cold as ice

there was much temper tantruming going on this evening, all of it mine.

see i was trying to leave parentland only it wasn’t working. the roads surrounding their house had magically turned into a sheet of ice. ruby and ice don’t get along so well. after spending 15 minutes revving ruby’s engine and spinning her tires with sister #4 trying to push her up this itty bitty hill and much, much swearing and pounding on the steering wheel, i gave up.

it’s sorta scary when you are on an incline with your vehicle in drive and it just keeps rolling down the hill.

so i went inside took a few deep breaths, worried that i was gonna be stuck at my parents’ house until spring and then tried again. this time i went the other way around and held my breath as i approached the giant hill– ruby conquered it like a champ.

yay!

in other news, i finally bought a car charger for my cellphone– now i am totally accessible whenever i’m hanging out in ruby. if i knew the number i’d give it to you darling ones so you could be my people and call me and we could discuss important stuff. but sadly i have no idea what my cell phone number is. i think it might be 612.384.9591 or 612.394.9481 or 612.364.9651 or something like that.
